School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Vijayawada has release employment notification for the recruitment of Teaching & Non Teaching jobs. 

Post Details:

I. Teaching Posts:

Planning Department:

1. Professor: 01 Post

Qualification: Ph.D. with minimum 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning discipline. Minimum 10 years experience.

2. Associate Professor: 02 Posts

Qualification: Ph.D. with 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning or in relevant discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching.

3. Assistant Professor: 04 Posts

Qualification: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with First Class or 60% aggregate marks at any one of the levels in discipline of Planning or in relevant discipline.
Architecture Department:

1. Professor: 04 Posts

Qualification: Ph.D. with minimum 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Architecture discipline. Minimum 10 years experience.

2. Associate Professor: 08 Posts

Qualification: Ph.D. with 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s in Architecture or Master’s level in Architecture or in relevant discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience.

3. Assistant Professor: 11 Posts

Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent PG Diploma & Bachelor’s Degree with 60% aggregate marks at any one of the levels in discipline of Architecture or in relevant discipline.

II. Non Teaching Posts: 

1. Deputy Registrar: 01 Post

Qualification: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale along with experience.

2. Assistant Registrar: 02 Posts

Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B’ in the UGC seven point scale with good academic record along with five years of experience.

3. Section Officer: 04 Posts

Qualification: A Master’s degree from a recognized University with five years of continuous service holding analogous post on regular basis in Universities experience.

4. Assistant Librarian: 01 Post

Qualification: Masters Degree in Library Science/ Information science / Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks.

5. Private Secretary: 01 Post

Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university with good academic record. At least 3 years of experience.

6. Graphic Designer / Senior Technical Assistant (Publications): 01 Post

Qualification: Master Degree in Design or PG Diploma in Design with 2 years experience.

7. Accountant: 01 Post

Qualification: Masters Degree in Commerce with good academic record. At least 3 years of experience.

8. Personal Assistant: 02 Posts

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma in Stenography & Secretarial Practice from a reputed Institute with a typing speed of 100 / 40 w.p.m. in English shorthand.
Total Number of Posts: 43
Selection Process: Performance in Written Test and Interview.
